aka TDR
Tioman Dive Resort aka TDR is solely owned by B&J Diving Centre Sdn. Bhd., a dive operator that was established in 1986. The Malay/German/Swiss owners saw the need for high quality accommodation on Tioman Island in Malaysia and decided to build Tioman Dive Resort in 2012 and extended it further in 2014.
The mission of the owners is to offer local and international guests clean and spacious rooms with a modern design, daily room cleaning service and all the amenities one would wish for. It’s a place for divers and non-divers alike.
TDR hosts just 11 beautiful rooms in various categories as described in our
room page. It’s two connected double story buildings, where every room has access to the balcony with seating arrangements. We care for the environment and have put a water dispenser as well as reusable water bottles in place.
Our vision is that Tioman Dive Resort looks better each year hence we keep re-investing in TDR and renovate each room at the end of each season.
BnJ Dormitories
is our low-cost accommodation option. These hostel style shared dormitory rooms are also well maintained and come with air conditioning. The room is cleaned daily.

Simply love this place and can't help it, I just have to keep coming back. Love the rooms (I think I tried them all), the team, the vibe, the island and the diving. Absolutely enjoy chilling out at the bar at night and forget about work. Highly recommended for divers and non-divers!

If you are into diving, and looking for a chill-out hotel with nice rooms, then you are in for a treat. The rooms are very comfortable, and they provide an air diffuser as well as mosquito repellent. It is also nice that there is a water cooler that dispenses very cold and hot water.

Great little hotel on Tioman. It is connected to B&J Diving Centre. Absolute top notch standard, pricier than the other hotels at ABC, but a lot better. Huge rooms, great beds, well sized bathroom, separate shower, squeaky clean, who could ask for more?

This is probably one of the best stays you can find in Kampung ABC. Booked a triple room while doing my OWD course and though nothing fancy, here are what I like about my stay:
- Clean & neat
- Daily housekeeping
- No bottled water provided, but the water dispensing machine is available (Good job for being environmentally friendly!)
- Friendly and courteous staff
- Lots of eateries around

Our trip was fantastic. Staff at the resort were great--rooms excellent--well organized--good instructors teaching new divers very well. Boats were great, Divemaster's well versed on reefs. Diving nice--shallowish , but that makes for rustic ,calm easy diving.
All in all a experience that will bring me back to this dive resort. Ben and Martin--you have a great place and model that is all about divers, but the non-diver will enjoy the fun that this place gives to all patrons.

A wonderful place to take your family, people are helpful, friendly and the diving was fantastic, we were lucky to see Turtle, Sting Ray and a variety of beautiful fish. I highly recommend it. The rooms are also clean and spacious!

We got room upgrades and the room were spacious and had everything we needed. It's clean and they provide daily cleaning service to mop and change our towel as we go out for diving. We were very happy with our stay and will come back again.

Highly recommended! Was there last year for the COT cleanup event in Sept. The room was clean and really huge! We booked the triple room. They are more eco-conscious so they provide large refillable glass bottles to refill water. The rooms were very near the dive centre so it was convenient. This was our first time at ABC and the feel was very different from Kg. Paya. Much more laid back and quiet. There were a few food stalls along the street. Staff were friendly so wouldn't mind coming back again!
